Zostera Experimental Network: Similarity patterns across guilds leveraging a global dataset
Using a dataset collected from eelgrass beds across the Northern hemisphere, I am asking questions about similarity across guilds assembled in eelgrass habitats ranging from mesograzers to microbes! This work has been made possible by an incredible team of international scientists collecting samples across the globe.

You can check out some of our published work in Fahimipour et al. 2017 where we show similarity between leaves and their local seawater microbiome and the absence of a similar pattern between roots and local sediments.
